Why do you want to be a Youth Council Member?
Having been part of the Youth Committee for a few years, I've had a lot of experience in the events we conduct. I would like to contribute my ideas on how we can run those events more efficiently and smoother. And I also want to help kickstart new programs and events on behalf of the Youth Committee.
How involved have you been in the Youth activities at the temple thus far?
I have been a member of the Youth Group since the start of my high school. So that is approximately 7 years now. Over these years, I've had the opportunity to work with hundreds of fellow Youth members in serving my community.

Why do you want to be a Youth Council member?
An amazing opportunity like this does not come often. Having this amazing opportunity to expand the temple's capabilities and help create more opportunities for other fellow youth to get involved with their culture and future means a lot. I love helping in any way and this feels like a really good opportunity to do just that. Working with amazing individuals, I feel like we can build something special that can continue for many future generations.
How involved have you been in Youth activities at the temple thus far?
I have been very involved with the temple's volunteering aspects. Before Covid-19 I was helping out a lot throughout the year; especially during major events like New Year's day, Health Camps, CHETNA, and fundraising events. Though COVID-19 slowed my presence here, I cannot wait to come back and help out in any way possible.

I love to listen to music, my favorite genre is R&B My favorite pastime is watching basketball I spend hours every day working out at the gym
Why do you want to be a Youth Council Member?
Being a youth council member would be an honor as it would allow me to use my knowledge of the youth system to further enhance the experience for incoming youth. As a part of the youth group, members are exposed to the culture associated with the temple, but are also given the opportunity to network and build connections. By becoming a member of Youth Council, I would want to work on ways to further these connections and broaden the opportunities provided.
How involved have you been in Youth Activities at the temple thus far?
I first got involved with HTCS and Sri Venkateswara temple in 2016 by helping with serving food in Annadanams. I was able to learn and get to know my other youth members through events such as New Year's Day, Health Camps, and CHETNA, even running some events such as New Year's Day 2021. Over the years, I've volunteered as a camp counselor at the HTCS Summer camp and helped raise money through the volunteer fundraising dinners. Although COVID-19 has impacted my presence at the temple, I have still been finding ways to help!
